Short pieces on long topics
This space is a small window into how I think and how I approach not just my work, but the world around me.
These are not fixed answers or polished frameworks, nor are they academic writings (you won't find references), and they're certainly not beyond challenge. They are simply a glimpse into different thoughts and the way I choose to frame them.
My writing is very similar to how I speak, and hopefully, it conveys how I like to explore and approach what can otherwise be complex modalities, ideas, concepts and theories.
These are short pieces on long topics.
However, at its core, much of what's here comes back to something simple… learning to notice what's in front of you, making sense of it clearly, and responding in a way that feels uniquely your own.
You'll find reflections on topics like anxiety, control, and responsibility (as well as many other topics available via the social media links below) that are here not to remove or overanalyse life's complexity, but to help you relate to it differently and see that even complex matters can be seen in a way that feels steady and grounded.
There's no expectation to agree with everything here. If anything, the aim is to offer something that resonates, challenges, or helps you see your own experience a little more clearly.
And if it sparks something in you, I'd genuinely welcome the conversation.
Sincerely,
John Reardon
